PPO (Polyphenylene Oxide)
What is PPO (Polyphenylene oxide) or PPE (Polyphenylene ether)?
PPO is an abbreviation for Polyphenylene Oxide, PPE is an abbreviation for Polyphenylene Ether is a high-temperature engineering thermoplastic, with low specific gravity, high rigidity, high heat resistance, inherent flame retardant, creep resistant, high strength and outstanding electrical, etc many excellent properties, its dielectric constant and dielectric loss is one of the smallest in engineering plastics with almost not affected by temperature, humidity factors,which can be used in low, medium and high frequency electric field. It is rarely used in its pure form due to difficulties in processing. It is mainly used as blend with polystyrene, high impact styrene-butadiene copolymer or polyamide.
